Residents and visitors alike can celebrate Family Day on Friday, November 24, 2023, by spending time with loved ones and neighbors and enjoying everything that Tallahassee-Leon County has to offer. Whether you visit a local business or explore one of our many family-friendly attractions, there’s something for the whole family.

The 2023 Family Day Celebration will take place on Friday, November 24, 2023 (the day after Thanksgiving) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Railroad Square Art District, and YOU’RE INVITED! Family Day at Railroad Square features LIVE entertainment, a family resource center, food trucks, and fun activities for families and children of all ages.

Family Day at Railroad Square is a community-led event supported by Leon County Government, the City of Tallahassee, Sachs Media, the Council on Culture & Arts (COCA), Soul of Southside Festival TLH, and the Children’s Services Council of Leon County.

Tallahassee-Leon County is the first community in Florida to recognize Family Day, an annual holiday celebrating the importance of families, togetherness, support, and love.
