The Tallahassee Community Chorus invites you the opening concert of their 36th season, featuring Felix Mendelssohn’s dramatic and electrifying oratorio, “Elijah”!
Our season opens with Felix Mendelssohn’s greatest oratorio, Elijah. Experience this powerful work with 200 voices raised in song, accompanied by live orchestra and soloists. Depicting the Old Testament story of the prophet Elijah, the work features dramatic action, with stunning chorales and arias, and a fiery chariot! Prepare to be electrified! Join us in the concert hall at 3pm for a special pre-concert talk with conductor, Dr. Michael Hanawalt! A livestream option is available for this performance at a special price for single ticket buyers.

General parking is available in the St. Augustine Garage located on the corner of Pensacola and Copeland Streets, and the Call Street Garage located on corner of Call and Macomb Streets. Accessible parking is available at the North Entrance of Ruby Diamond Concert Hall and along Convocation Way. The accessible entrance drop-off area is located at the north entrance of Ruby Diamond (the roundabout) and may be accessed by Convocation Way. Elevators are available to take patrons to the appropriate floor. Ushers will help direct patrons to the elevators.
