Located in the Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC) on the main campus of Tallahassee Community College. The Gallery is open every Monday through Friday from 12:30 until 4:30 p.m.
Renowned contemporary artist, Carrie Ann Baade, invites art enthusiasts on an extraordinary visual journey spanning over 20 years of her artistic evolution. "The Surreal Imagining" exhibition boasts an awe-inspiring collection of over 30 paintings and 15 collages, each bearing witness to Baade's captivating exploration of the subconscious and her mastery of layered narratives. Baade's hauntingly beautiful oil paintings transport viewers to a mythic past, resonating with echoes of the self-entwined in fantastical parables. Through her brushstrokes, she unlocks the enigmatic stories concealed within her subconscious mind, unraveling psychological revelations in compositions that stimulate and provoke.
Admission to the Fine Art Gallery is free. Parking on the campus of Tallahassee Community College is also free.
