Chef Shac is bringing the celebrated Sensory Experience back to Tallahassee with a new twist: Taste of The Sensory.This sensory sampler will give patrons an opportunity to experience a variety of tastes, sights, and sounds made famous by the original Sensory Experience. The sampler serves a two-fold purpose, as it also serves as a launch for Chef Shac's Journey to Cuba Experience. Proceeds from the sampler will be used to support Chef Shac\'s Grow. Eat. Live. program launch in Cuba, where she will spend time with local families, farmers, cooks, and more to study and observe the rich Cuban/Afro-Cuban culture (s) its tradition(s), as well as experience how they experience food. Chef Shac will be a student of the land, learning and teaching unique and sustainable ways to prepare healthy and tasty meals with a Cuban flare. She will compile all that she learns and bring it home to the Big Bend Area to educate and empower others. Patrons of the sampler will be invited back to experience a special Cuban-Style Sensory and Learning Experience upon Chef Shac's return.loop
