Join Randy Rhea, author of the book “Astronomy is Heavenly” for a program on black holes, how they form, how they are identified, and are they a portal to other universes?
Amateur astronomers or anyone who enjoys gazing up at the night sky will find this program interesting and enlightening. Recommended for adults and students from middle school age and older.
Rhea has presented many astronomy programs at Pebble Hill in the past and his classes are always very well received. Rhea writes a monthly column for the Cairo Messenger and the Thomasville Times-Enterprise on astronomy interests and has written for Sky & Telescope magazine. He is the author of five engineering text books and many technical papers. The program will be held in the Learning Center at Pebble Hill Plantation.
