You are invited to join us at the gallery on Tuesday, May 16th when contemporary plein air artist, Lynn Mehta will have a show of recent work, including paintings just completed during her visit with us in Apalachicola. Lynn is from rural Virginia, and has a deep love for the outdoors and wild natural places.  As a plein air artist, nature and painting come together in an inspiring way that is expressed in her free flowing artwork.  She is highly regarded in plein air circles, and participates in selected juried plein air events across the country - including the 2021 St. George Island Paint Out where we first met her.  She has an interpretive style that verges on the abstract, and takes plein air painting to the next level.
