We are thrilled to announce that Mission San Luis was awarded accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums (AAM).  AAM accreditation brings national recognition to a museum for its commitment to excellence, accountability, high professional standards, and continued institutional improvement.

All-Day Programs:

-- Special presentation highlighting accreditation

-- Historical activities for visitors: atlatl (spear throwing), crafts, and games

-- Blacksmithing demonstrations-- Organization tables: Florida Department of State and other agencies

Hourly Programming on the Historic Site:

-- 10 am:  Accreditation Celebration Welcome and Kick-Off 

-- 11 am:  Southeastern Native American storytelling-- Noon:  Chunkey and ballgame toss games

-- 1 pm:  Native American historic weapons demonstration

-- 2 pm:  Archaeology presentation

-- 3 pm:  Spanish dancing
