We invite rising 1st-6th graders to join us as we spend a week exploring contemporary art, trying out new art materials, and creating and exploring other worlds through artmaking.
The FSU Summer Art Workshops Workshops are run by a group of faculty and students at FSU in the art education department! Our mission is to facilitate K-12 kids' engagement in independent, inquiry-driven art-making. We believe weekends and summer should be an opportunity to explore the world through creativity, imagination, and play. Kids shouldn't have to wait to grow up to do or be something. The time is now; your creativity awaits! Art processes like mixed media painting and found object sculptures will take kids outside of their comfort zone and try something new that they've never done before!
Please be sure to pay your registration and complete the required forms to confirm attendance!
