Seeing Florida Heritage through Archaeology

Seeing Florida Heritage through Archaeology

Presented by Friends of Wakulla Springs State Park at Wakulla Springs State Park

The history of Florida is fascinating, and archaeology helps us to understand the heritage beneath the ground and to appreciate what people have achieved. Join noted anthropologist, Uzi Baram, for a unique look spanning the last five centuries of Florida history. This interesting presentation will highlight colonial sites, utopian settlements, minority communities, and modern cities, and encourages current preservation efforts with heritage organizations.

Program hosted by Friends of Wakulla Springs State Park with funding provided through a grant from the Florida Humanities. Register online at the Friends website to receive the Zoom program link.  https://wakullasprings.org/event-5183566
