Whether you visit a local business or explore one of our many family-friendly attractions, there’s something for the whole family.
Prior to visiting the business or attraction, be sure to check the hours of operation as it is a communitywide holiday.
The 2022 Family Day Celebration will take place on Friday, November 25, 2022 (the day after Thanksgiving) from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Lake Anita Park on FAMU Way, and YOU’RE INVITED. Family Day at FAMU Way features LIVE entertainment, a family resource center, food trucks, and fun activities for families and children of all ages.
Family Day at FAMU Way is a community-led event supported by Leon County Government, the City of Tallahassee, Sachs Media, the Council on Culture & Arts (COCA) and Soul of Southside Festival TLH, with additional support from SoMo Walls, Peter Boulware Toyota, Capital Health Plan, First Commerce Credit Union and others.
Tallahassee-Leon County is the first community in Florida to recognize Family Day, an annual holiday celebrating the importance of families, togetherness, support, and love.
