The Ricci Krown Trio, Friday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 pm
The Ricci Krown Trio with All World Blues Harmonica icon, Jason Ricci and Joe Krown on the Hammond B-3 organ blow away the club Friday night to open the Pat Ramsey Benefit weekend. Without a doubt, Jason, a multiple Blues Music Award winner and Pat Ramsey protege is the most innovative, creative and energetic harp player on the blues/rock circuit. He lights up the corner stage with the most fiery and original harp display the club has ever seen. He's won too many blues harp awards and accolades to try to list. Jason's music defies categorization but fuses rock, blues, jazz, jam and funk with unmistakable originality and unique performing arts. It's a mix of musicianship and showmanship that has garnered Jason national recognition and acclaim.
Joe Krown is an award winning staple of the New Orleans music scene, known for his monster play on the key boards. He was a longtime member of Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown's band and has played and recorded with a who's who of Big Easy Royalty.  Jason and Joe are joined by Doug Belote on drums.  The Trio is now a regular fixture at local New Orleans venues and festivals & clubs all around the world, including the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.  They'll be featuring their latest and acclaimed cd, City Country City.
