On Thursday, October 27 from 5 – 7:30 PM, Trunk or Treat stations will be packed throughout the Capitol Complex, sponsored by our partners at Capitol Police. Find even more family-friendly activities along Adams Street with Tallahassee Downtown and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).

Then, as the sun goes down around 7 PM, join us at the Historic Capitol Museum for an outdoor Movie Night. We’ll embark on a musical journey for Dia de los Muertos with Disney Pixar’s Coco (2017, PG) in our cinema under the stars!

Bring your favorite lawn chairs or blanket for seating and picnic dinners are welcome. Free movie and snacks are generously sponsored by Dr. Ed and Kathleen Moore and Wolf Hospitality.

Parking Info

The Historic Capitol is located in the Capitol Complex, at the intersection of Apalachee Parkway and South Monroe Street. Although the museum does not have dedicated parking, there are several parking lots in the area. There is a large public parking garage in Kleman Plaza, close to the Capitol Complex. When the legislature is in session, parking can be especially challenging. Spaces for visitors with disabilities are located on west side of the House Office Building in the north side loading zone.
