In the classic American play by Robert Harling, a memorable group of women gather in Truvy's Beauty Salon in Chinquapin, Louisianna to have their hair done. Aided by her eager new assistant, Annelle, wise-cracking Truvy dispenses shampoos and advice to the town’s rich curmudgeon Ouiser; an eccentric millionaire, Miss Clairee; the local social leader, M’Lynn; and her daughter, Shelby, the “prettiest girl in town.” Filled with hilarious repartee and revealing verbal collisions, this play speaks to the underlying strength—and love—of true friendship.

There is plenty of street parking around the building on all sides. There is also a large city lot across from the courthouse. After hours (after 5 pm) the Monticello News allows us to make use of their lot. Street parking around the back of the building is also available.
