Eugene “Hideaway” Bridges solo, Saturday, Sept. 3 at 7:30 pm

The nomadic Eugene “Hideaway” Bridges wanders back to the BBC for a special solo performance Saturday night.  He’ll be featuring music from his highly acclaimed cd, “Live In Tallahassee”, recorded at the BBC! Eugene is making a special trip to the BBC for this show.
Eugene, who hails from Texas says home is wherever he happens to be, spending most of his time in Europe and Australia.He’s stopped by the BBC during his wanderings for a bunch of unforgettable performances. He’s the total package–stellar guitar playing, sterling song writing and even better soulful vocals. Throw in stage presence, humor and crowd appeal and you get one of the more memorable shows you’ll see at the BBC. Eugene’s voice is unparalleled–strong, emotive, controlled and soulful. His music cuts across the spectrum of blues, soul, gospel, jazz and country. He is frequently described as cross between the understated guitar playing of BB King and the rhythm & blues and soul offerings of Sam Cooke.
