Art & Tech Workshop Series | Tell Your Story by Making Little Video Games

Presented by 621 Gallery at 621 Gallery

SAT, 9/10 @ 2PM
1.5 – 2 HRS | $5 SUGGESTED
Bitsy is a little tool for making little games or worlds. It’s fun to use and lets you create games that feel more like reading a page out of your diary, flipping through a DIY zine, or getting a glimpse into a secret world of your own. Instead of making the next blockbuster action game, Bitsy’s simplicity and low-fi feel means you’ll make mini games and tiny worlds that are personal, poetic, narrative, and uniquely yours. In this workshop we’ll learn by doing – by the time you leave you can totally have a working game of your own creation, so come with some ideas!
Target audience
Total beginners with no prior knowledge assumed.
Materials needed
Access to a laptop & charging cable. Any old laptop will do, as long as it can connect to Wi-Fi. Don’t forget your power cord / charger! A mouse is helpful but not necessary.
