Come audition for The Cursed House of Ravensmadd, an original feminist, queer, musical parody of Victorian Gothic novels ala Jane Eyre, produced by Mickee Faust, Tallahassee’s ground zero for unexpected and fun new theater.
Ravensmadd was written by deaf, queer playwright and performer Terry Galloway and marketing professional by day, writer, performer, and choreographer by night, Stacey Abbott. It will be directed by Galloway and FSU professor of Communication, Donna Marie Nudd. The musical director will be Ben Gunter with Larry McGraw as Band Captain. The music was composed by Austin Grammy Award Winner Peter Stopschinski.
Faust practices non-traditional casting. In the case of Ravensmadd, think Bridgerton if that show was more gender-fluid and included people with disabilities. Most of the roles are singing roles but there are many ways you can join in the fun.
