Heroes Not Forgotten - An Americanism Film, a public service film, depicts how a ghostly night-time encounter with a military honor guard, in a military cemetery on a July 4th night, affects the lives of three kids and family members.  Interwoven with patriotism, comedy, and drama, the kids learn to honor America's military veterans and aspects of Americanism during their encounter with the military honor guard that night and with their parents and the cemetery historian the following day.
