Southern Shakespeare Company presents a 90-minute workshop with instructor Jason Chimonides
Four centuries after his death, Shakespeare is still widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world’s greatest playwright. This 90-minute workshop, intended for aspiring dramatists at all levels of their craft, will explore writing-prompts and exercises derived from Shakespeare’s works. Gleaning insights into his characters, meter and poetic expression, participants will leave with a stronger sense of how "The Bard’s" textual scaffolding can deepen and aid their dramatic writings today, whatever the story or genre.
