5th Annual Microtheater Festival

Presented by Tallahassee Hispanic Theater at Goodwood Museum and Gardens

This July 29th and 30th, Tallahassee Hispanic Theater will present the fifth annual  Microtheater Festival on the historical grounds of Goodwood Museum and Gardens.  The festival will present a series of 15 to 20-minute plays written by Hispanic playwrights, performed in English. One of the plays is world premiere of an original work by two members of the company.
In addition to the plays, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy drinks and Hispanic food provided by Tally Arepas (available for purchase), and live Hispanic music throughout the event. On Friday night Talumba, a Latin American music ensemble based out of Tallahassee, and on Saturday Charles Santiago will be performing Hispanic guitar music. Microtheater brings short stage performances up close to the audience in unusual venues. In the beautiful Carriage House the audience will be able to enjoy the setting, music, food, and performances (presented all in the same open space) while moving freely around the space and mingling with others.
