First Fridays @ Railroad Square Art District

First Fridays @ Railroad Square Art District

Presented by Railroad Square Art District and ACERS (Arts & Cultural Experiences of Railroad Square) at Railroad Square Art District

Railroad Square Art District is best known for the exciting and popular First Friday festival, which occurs on the first Friday of every month, providing a lively, enjoyable experience with open galleries and small businesses, live music, and great people watching. First Fridays have been going for over 20 years and are a wonderful way to experience the Tallahassee community.  The festival has been recognized nationally by Forbes and the Huffington Post and is Tallahassee’s most popular, longest-running monthly cultural event!
Railroad Square is the place to go to support creative LOCAL businesses and experience a variety and uniqueness not found in any other single location in town…from vintage and antiques, to specialty stores and fine art, there are so many fun and creative shops, a non-profit theater, an authentic pinball arcade, a non-profit book store,  a gaming shop, photography studio, a cult cinema, and a specialty kayak shop…there’s truly something for everyone!
In addition to food trucks, food and beverage options throughout Railroad Square include the Square Mug Cafe, Railroad Square Crafthouse, Oh Lemonade!, Halisi Africa, and the Crumbox Gastgarden, the only cafe in town built out of a real railroad caboose!  We hope to see you there with your friends and family.
Roads close at 6pm, so arrive early if you need a close parking space.  Carpooling is encouraged. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Some businesses request that you wear a mask when indoors, so please have one handy.   Email director@railroadsquare.org with any questions.  Vending is not permitted at First Fridays other than by current Railroad Square tenants.
