Local artist Sanjit Datta's solo  "East Meets West", will be exhibited at Venvi Gallery. The show will be on view from April 1 – May 27 and the opening reception is scheduled for April 15th from 6-9pm.

Sanjit has been creating colorful and energetic artworks for more than 50 years and sharing them with the Tallahassee community. His paintings often contain Indian motifs and themes and showcase imagery from his own life experiences. Schooled in Calcutta, India and Birmingham, England, he has worked in graphic and typographic design for several organizations including WFSU TV.
