This duo has been playing together for over fifteen years and still going strong. Expect to hear Nu jazz with some of their own original compositions and arrangements of standards that'll leave you on the edge of your seat. This is Shahid Tomblin I am the piano player for the group Some Good Fellas. We have played all over the Big Bend area and the southeastern region. We play jazz, blues, and neo-soul we also have our own jazz compositions. We play jazz music and neo-soul music, also we have our on original compositions that we perform. We have played all over Tallahassee, from concerts at Lee Hall Auditorium, FSU, various clubs etc. We have performed at the House of Blues in New Orlean on several occasions...and let me not forget we were the house band for the poetry troupe Black on Black Rhyme. We have opened for the r&b group 112, also George Clinton and P-funk. We used to go by the name Odyssey before the band disbanded back in 2007, and then got back together in 2019 and changed our name to Some Good Fellas.
