Please join us as we dedicate the name of SCPO Vernon Foster, Godby Class of 1971, onto the LCS Wall of Remembrance at the Bloxham Building on Wednesday, May 25th at 1:00pm. Senior Chief Foster perished in 1987 during an attack on the USS Stark.

The dedication event will take place on Wednesday, May 25th at 1:00pm at 727 South Calhoun Street.

Members of Mr. Foster’s family will be in attendance and the program will include: a keynote address  by Admiral Rick Grant, the Leon County School’s Joint JROTC Unit, the Chiles Choir, a rifle volley by Leon County Sherriff Deputies and members of the Lincoln Band performing Echo Taps.

This will be the first new addition to the memorial since its dedication ceremony in 2013. A plaque for the memorial will also be unveiled during the program.
