Hiptastic is for anyone who loves dance or wants to try something new. Our goal is for participants to leave with knowledge of bellydance and the cultures it comes out of, but we also want them to leave with a lot of smiles and self esteem.
Hiptastic is a fun bellydance based summer camp. Sessions are for ages 9 to 16 and include dance instruction, crafts, snacks, games and a performance for friends and family. The family performance will be held on the last day of camp at 5:30 pm!
Bellydance helps people of any size, shape, or age appreciate themselves for who they are. It is a great way to teach self esteem. In many of the styles of bellydance we teach leadership and teamwork also play critical factors. Because bellydance spans so many countries and cultures it even helps us explore diversity. The best reason for bellydance is that it is different and fun!
