About the instructor

A left coast transplant to the Big Bend, Rachel Gross has been making things her entire life. After a childhood spent learning to sew, quilt, embroider, and tat, she studied oil painting and illustration at Flagler College, and Fashion Design and Merchandising at the Chicago Art Institute.

Her love of textiles and traditional handicrafts can be seen in much of her body of work, and she fills her spare time with more projects than are possible to complete.
