Written by our very own Thomas Hart, "Dead Man’s Game" is a 60-minute game of checkers, but with rather high stakes! A woman has died and finds herself in Hell... but she doesn't know what she did to get there. She plays Satan in checkers for a chance to get herself out, and during the match, the two have an enlightening conversation about the complicated facets of "sin" and religious morality. The play is a dark comedy with the over-the-top and flamboyant personality of Satan bouncing off of the more subdued Hera, who really just isn't having any of it.
The reading will take place on April 1st at 8pm in FSU's Globe Room 2500.
