The Tallahassee Civic Chorale is sponsoring a fish fry lunch and walking tour at Natural Bridge Battlefield Historic State Park on Saturday, March 19, from 11:00 am to about 3:00 pm.  The Chorale is excited to be able to offer this event again, after a 2-year hiatus. There are three opportunities for walking tours on the 1865 historical battlefield areas, including the Rakestraw property, which is not normally open to the general public. Spring is the perfect time to take these tours and see the beautiful spring vegetation, while learning more about the Battle of Natural Bridge.   Tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for students.  Proceeds benefit the Tallahassee Civic Chorale, a local non-profit community choir.  The last day to reserve tickets is Thursday, March 17, 2022.  Tickets are available by phoning (850) 570-2291 at: https://tickets.chorusconnection.com/tcchorale/events/388. Those with limited mobility may not be able to access all areas of the tour.  Lunch included with the tour is fried mullet, cheese grits, coleslaw, and various sweets, with iced tea and water. Outdoor seating will be available (weather permitting) and food will be served by volunteers wearing masks.
