The Florida Trust for Historic Preservation will host the exhibition “They Led the Way” at our headquarters, the historic Hays Hood House, 906 E. Park Avenue, May 19 – June 30, 2016.
Learn about the students who desegregated public schools in Tallahassee during the 1960’s. They went on to become leaders and business professionals.
“Hosting this exhibit provides us an opportunity to invite public participation in and increase awareness of the importance of preserving and recognizing our history” says Anne Peery, Executive Director. The exhibit is part of the 2016 Season of Emancipation.
