Story Slam at Midtown Reader is a monthly writing contest and reading series. It’s an opportunity for local writers to share their work with Tallahassee’s reading and writing community.
Each month, writers submit short pieces of fiction or nonfiction (600 words or less) on a theme to be considered to read at the event. The theme for January/February is "Chill." Send your piece to katie@midtownreader.com by Friday, February 18 at 6 p.m. to be considered! All are welcome to join us in-store on Friday, February 25 at 7 p.m. to hear this month's winners read their work.
