Northside Stage presents poet Michael Rothenberg and the Ecosound Ensemble will be joined by pianist Bob Malone at the Northside Community Center on Friday, March 25th at 7pm.
FSU Libraries Poet in Residence Michael Rothenberg presents a unique evening ofmusic and poetry improvisation. In addition to his over 20 volumes of published work, and lyrical collaborations with many well-know songwriters, he has edited and published works by Allen Ginsberg, Philip Whalen, Michael McClure and many others.
Called a “keyboard wizard” by The New Yorker, singer, songwriter and pianist Bob Malone has amassed a loyal international fan-base through twenty-five years of touring and nine critically acclaimed album releases. He’s also played keyboards for John Fogerty since 2011, and has been a session player for Ringo Starr and Avril Lavigne.
Michael and Bob are joined by the Ecosound Ensemble, which includes acclaimed players Longineu Parsons, Michael Bakan and Brian Hall.
