This workshop is a 2 hour long program where students get an overview of glass fusing while creating small objects like jewelry, sun catchers, buttons, wind chimes, etc. I provide all materials and kiln firing. No glass cutting experience is needed and it is geared toward ages teen to adult.
Beth Cox's glass-working career started with a traditional stained-glass class. She then continued on to study design, fusing, casting/pate de vere, kiln construction, lampworking, and glass blowing. Now, she lives in Escanaba, MI where she gives glass blowing demonstrations and teaches workshops at the Historic Steam & Gas Village. She makes a living by teaching workshops around the country, restoring stained glass, and selling new fused and cast glass pieces in numerous galleries.
