This internationally-known seven piece funk band includes Ivan and Ian Neville, the next generation of Neville Brothers.  ArtiGras is a celebration and homage to the vibrant and engaging cultural traditions of Mardi Gras, while adding a unique Tallahassee Art District “spin\" for neighbors and visitors alike. The ArtiGras Festival will also host musical performances by Sauce Boss, opening on the main stage, and lots more live music in several after hours venues. Artigras will also feature art-making stations, education, dance, food, and a vibrant, colorful parade. This is an annual event that brings together people from a diversity of cultural backgrounds, both from across the Tallahassee area and from out of town, to celebrate this fun and engaging holiday.  Programming will appeal to a wide audience, including activities geared toward children and families.  Sunday’s event will feature Longineu Parsons Ensemble at a Mardi Gras themed Jazz brunch.  A huge thanks to Tallahassee’s CRA (Community Redevelopment Agency), The Akbar Law Firm, and all of our supporters for their contributions to this festival and celebration of culture.
