The Sharing Tree is a public/nonprofit partnership. Founding partners are Leon County Schools, Goodwill Industries-Big Bend, Sustainable Tallahassee Inc., and Leon County government. These organizations have come together to establish a reusable resource center where donated new and gently used items are available to educators, artists, and the broader learning community. The partnership grew out of a commitment to help educators, who are facing shrinking operational budgets, and to divert reusable materials from the local landfill.
