Local nonprofit leaders from the Council on Culture & Arts (COCA), Institute for Nonprofit Innovation and Excellence (INIE), and United Partners for Human Services (UPHS) will host “DEI in TLH: Rewind” on Tuesday, August 24 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Zoom. Continuing the sector conversations on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in Tallahassee and the surrounding community, featured speakers will be Kathleen Spehar, Executive Director of COCA, Amber R. Tynan, Executive Director of UPHS, and Felina Martin, Executive Director of INIE.

The joint June symposium with keynote speaker Mariama Boney inspired the nonprofit sector’s vision for DEI in TLH. The conversation will explore how nonprofits are now addressing inclusiveness, representation, and sustainably operationalizing DEI. Participants can join online to explore questions, share resources, and move from conversation to action.

COCA, INIE, and UPHS are Tallahassee-based nonprofit organizations focused on strengthening and amplifying the sector’s voice through advocacy, education, community engagement and cross-sector collaboration
