2016 Season of Emancipation
Volunteer Training

If you would like to volunteer for any of the events listed below, please attend training on Saturday, May 14 at 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the John G. Riley Museum Visitor Center. We will be assigning job duties/descriptions and will provide a sign up sheet.

We will provide light refreshments.

**If you can not make it to training but would like to participate please e-mail Tatiana@rileymuseum.org there is a Sunday training available on a case by case basis**

• Friday, May 20, 2016 – 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. - Historical Reenactment and Reading of the Emancipation Proclamation – Knott House Museum, 301 East Park Avenue, Tallahassee

• Saturday, May 21, 2016 –9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. - ... A Walk Through Living History Festival Parade and Day in the Park (recognizing our Armed Forces)– Speed Spencer Stephens Park, 1907 Saxon Street , Tallahassee

• Saturday, May 21, 2016 – 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. – 6th Annual Emancipation and Abolitionist Ball – The Augustus B. Turnbull III Florida State Conference Center, 555 West Pensacola Street, Tallahassee
