When & How
Two Sessions

  • View Video.
    Enter the digital media room where you will participate by watching the instructional video and completing online quizzes, handouts, forms. You can do this alone, or invite up to three others to participate with you (like a little Zoom meeting). You can do this anytime you like before August 14th.
  • Independent Practice.
    After video, take time to practice making an instructional video on your own.
  • Debrief live with Jay Arbolario.
    After independent practice, meet with Jay LIVE on a Zoom meeting during the week of August 14-21. Groups of up to 25 based on your grade level and content will meet to discuss the process. These will be scheduled according to your availability.

Why The FAAE is very aware that teachers are rethinking how they deliver instruction to students, whether face to face or streamed or online. This professional development will give you the skills you need to develop and produce your own instructional videos for your students, without having to hire someone to do the production.
