As such we strongly encourage applications from underrepresented groups and curatorially driven exhibits. We look to support artists’ professional development through the creation and facilitation of public and educational programming, interaction with the local art community and engagement with diverse audiences.
We urge emerging and established artists to apply with no limitations on
medium or style.
The gallery offers a main space that can be sectioned into two separate exhibition spaces (if needed) and the Nan Boynton Memorial Gallery that can be utilized for one-person shows or smaller group exhibitions.
621 Gallery Exhibition Committee reviews all applications submitted for exhibition. The committee meets once a year in the spring to select artists for the next year’s exhibition season. The season will run from September 2020 – June 2021.
Artists interested in exhibiting at 621 Gallery must submit the following materials as a single PDF via email OR by mailed hard copy via USB drive:
- A one-page cover letter containing a clear and concise proposal for your exhibition.
- 15 to 20 images (no less than 72dpi and 1200px at longest dimension) with title, material, and size information indicated on each image page.
- Resume or CV
- Exhibition Statement
- A confirmation number showing proof of application fee payment
