The Tallahassee Ballet's Turning Pointe Summer Intensive 2018

June 4-15, 2018

Join the faculty and staff of The Tallahassee Ballet with special guest artists Lauren Anderson, Antonio Douthit-Boyd, Lorraine Graves, and Maximo Oliviera for two weeks of in-depth professional training opportunities for the experienced dancer.

Young Dancemaker’s Workshop (Dancers ages 11-14)

• Instructors: Lauren Anderson, Antonio Douthit-Boyd, Lorraine Graves, Maximo Oliveira
• June 4-15, 2018, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
• Tuition: Non-Company Member $650 Company Member $550

The YDM Workshop includes four classes a day: Ballet Technique, Contemporary/Jazz/Hip Hop, Repertory, and Conditioning/Pilates.

Pointe for Young Dancemaker’s (Dancers ages 12+*)

• Instructors: Lorraine Graves and Lauren Anderson
• June 4-15, 2018, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
• Tuition: Non-Company Member $300 Company Member $250

Intensive class for dancers who are at least 12 years old with at least one full year of pointe training. Students will be engaged in a serious study of ballet terminology, proper execution of intermediate steps, and various classical enchainment. Requirement: Must be enrolled in Young Dancemaker’s Workshop.

Advanced Dancemaker’s Workshop (Dancers ages 15+)

• June 4-15, 2018, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
• Tuition: Non-Company Member $600 Company Member $550

The ADM Workshop includes five dance classes a day: Conditioning/Pilates, Ballet Technique, Ballet Repertory, Jazz/Contemporary, and Hip-hop. Dancers will be challenged with the most intense program of instruction. This is a rigorous workshop for the most serious of dance students.
