Access for All

The Gadsden Arts Center is exciting to be hosting an "Access for All" free VSA Florida workshop for staff, board members, docents, and volunteers of local arts organizations who are interested in learning about ways to build audience, build donors, build volunteers, and build programs by thinking accessible and inclusive.

This Access for All workshop will help arts organizations develop disability friendly policies and programs that will not only promote a welcoming environment but provide rich cultural experiences for everyone that walks through their doors. This presentation will do more than merely help you rethink your space; it will empower you with tools for inclusive customer service as well as marketing your commitment to accessibility.

Topics will include:

• Laws on including people with disabilities
• How to create a welcoming environment
• Assisting patrons with specific disabilities
• Developing programs for all
• Marketing your accessibility
