VISIT FLORIDA, the official tourism marketing corporation for the State of Florida, seeks a high energy social media and marketing professional to join their public relations team. Must be outgoing, a multi-tasker and detailed oriented with the ability to execute projects and campaigns semi-independently.

The ideal candidate will have five-plus years of consumer marketing or digital media experience developing social media strategy, executing social media marketing campaigns across multiple channels, utilizing analytics and social listening and collaborating with an integrated marketing team. Must be able to manage multiple projects and an agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the role of content, social media marketing, influencer marketing and social media best practices in a dynamic organization. A minimum of a four-year degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field, and three years of social media experience, is required. Proficiency with Omniture SiteCataylst, comScore/Quantcast, Nielsen and monitoring tools is a plus. Experience in the travel and tourism industry is a bonus. Salary is commensurate with experience. Travel up to 20%. This position is based in Tallahassee, FL.
