The Museum of Florida History invites you to consider serving as a judge at the Florida History Day state contest on Monday, May 8, at Tallahassee Community College. The museum especially needs people with professional or academic experience in history, social studies, library science, media production, visual or graphic arts, theater, journalism, and communications, but we also welcome nonprofessional historians.

Divisions: Junior (grades 6-8) and Senior (grades 9-12)

Categories: Historical Paper, Documentary, Performance, Exhibit, and Website

Judging Special Prizes is an option for individuals who aren’t available on May 8 or who prefer not to interview students.

If you are interested in judging at the contest or judging special prizes prior to the contest, go to http://floridahistoryday.com/judgeinfo/ to register.

Don’t feel comfortable about judging? You can still participate by volunteering to help with logistical tasks on Sunday to Tuesday, May 7-9, 2017.
