Open, juried exhibition at Florida CraftArt!

Though storytelling is often a verbal or written presentation, stories surround us in every detail of our lives. Our imaginations soar when we see a whimsical piece, childhood memories are triggered by certain colors and shapes, textures remind us of another time in our lives.

A Well-Crafted Tale is an open, juried exhibition of fine craft (paintings and photographs are ineligible). This means that anyone can enter, the work should be in line with the theme of storytelling and the artwork will be selected by a knowledgeable panel. Keep in mind that storytelling refers not only to children’s tales but can refer to capturing family histories, relating fantasy adventures, documenting other cultures….the list goes on.
