Do you sing? Do you dance? Are you freaking fabulous?

New Stage Theatreworks continues a tradition of groundbreaking theatre in Tallahassee with a special spooktacular October production of "The Rocky Horror Show". Come be a part of it!

Auditions will be held at 7pm at Theatre Tallahassee 1861 Thomasville Rd, Tallahassee, FL on Monday, August 22nd and Tuesday, August 23rd.

Please come prepared to sing a 16-bar song selection and to read from the script. Musical theatre or Oldies Rock N’ Roll song stylings are preferred. An accompanist will be provided, so please bring your sheet music. A capella singing is not encouraged. Taped accompaniment is not encouraged and there will be no playback equipment available for any taped accompaniment. No monologue is required.

Please download the audition packet for character information and to preview the material that will be used for the readings. Note that the material contains adult language and situations and is not intended for our younger acting candidates.

• First round auditions will consist of individual song selections and readings from the script on August 22 and 23. Please refer to the download packet for information on how to prepare for the readings.
• Callback invitations will be given at the discretion of the director. Callbacks will be held on August 24 at a location to be announced.  Callbacks will involve singing selections from the show score and will also involve a dance audition. If you are invited to callbacks by the director, please wear clothes you can move in and appropriate footwear.
• Rehearsals are to begin on August 28.
• Please bring all information on any conflicts you may have to the audition, including any other performance commitments you may have.
