Thomas University, an independent, not-for-profit, institution of higher education with undergraduate and graduate programs in Thomasville, Georgia is seeking adjunct instructors for the following Digital Photography and Graphic/Website design courses for Fall Semester 2016 (August 15-December 9). Thomasville, Georgia is located 35 miles north of Tallahassee and commute time ranges from 45 minute to an hour from the FSU campus in Tallahassee, FL and from Valdosta, GA.

Available Sections are hybrid with an online instructional component.

ART 390 Principles of Graphic Art and Website Design Tuesdays 9:30-10:50 am

ART 380 Digital Photography An introduction to software applications associated with computer generated images and their manipulation, including 2D animation.
ART 381 Digital Photography II This course is designed to further develop student skills in pixel based photography and Adobe Photoshop with an emphasis on concept culminating in an exhibition of selected works. A studio fee will cover expenses for completing three contemporary artist presentations, one artist statement, creation of twenty unique images, and the printing and framing of selected images.
ART 382 Digital Photography III This course is designed to further develop student skills in pixel based photography and Adobe Photoshop with an emphasis on concept culminating in an exhibition of selected works.
ART 390 Principles of Graphic Art and Website Design Students will learn the principles of graphic art and website design. The elements of good graphic design, logo creation, and typography will be addressed. Utilizing artistic principles, students will progress to designing, building, and maintaining a functional website.

Minimum Qualifications: A Master's degree with coursework in subject areas directly related to the available courses or extensive professional experience and a record of teaching, or at least eighteen graduate credit hours directly related to the subject areas.
