The sole purpose of this Event is to create and sustain the newly formed NOT FOR PROFIT Big Bend Blues Society.

Non Profit status is applied for and application to The Blues Foundation is also in the works. It is a process.

Last year's Championships were played to a PACKED HOUSE at The BBC, with players from 7 States of the Southeastern United States.

ALL CONTESTANTS .....Basic Rules.
Divisions
Best Male, Best Female, Best Young Gun (Below 18), Best Overall.

Each player will perform to their choice to either a live band or recorded music. The top 5 from each category will perform a second time as time allows. Winners will be determined by scores.

Judges will determine scores.

Scores are based on
1) Harmonica Skill
2) Showmanship
3) Creativity

All levels of players are encouraged to particiapte!

There will be T-Shirts for sale at $20 each. Each contestant gets One ( 1) free Tshirt.

Equipment.
There will be 2 Amps on stage to choose from. Both will be Tube amps.
Bring your own Mic or Use One provided.
You can choose to play just through the PA, as many did last year.

This show is to benefit Big Bend Blues Society getting established as a Blues Foundation Affiliate.

After the Championships enjoy the unique harmonica driven music style of Swingin Harpoon.
