Overview

The Institute for Nonprofit Innovation and Excellence (INIE) works to strengthen the capacity and impact of the nonprofit sector through advocacy, education, and collaboration. Due to COVID19, there is an increased demand for assistance with grant research and education on generating diverse streams of revenue to sustain nonprofit organizations.

As the Revenue Research Center (RRC) Coordinator, you will serve as INIE’s first point of contact for nonprofit members inquiring about securing funding resources and assistance with research. The Coordinator serves as INIE’s content expert for multiple funding sources and stays on top of fund development industry trends. This position will work closely with members and assist them in their funding journey. Additionally, the Coordinator is instrumental in managing research opportunities and grant submissions for INIE and compiling and organizing monthly report and impact data. The Coordinator is responsible for achieving qualitative impact goals that include scheduling meetings with members, grant research, grant writing, and securing grants.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Receiving and responding to any grant related inquiries made by INIE members or prospects
  2.  Assisting members with grant research using GrantStation, Foundation Center, Instrumentl and Grant Watch
  3.  Supervising day to day tasks and work of grant research interns
  4.  Coordinating contracted grant writer schedules and appointments
  5.  Researching funding opportunities for INIE
  6.  Compiling INIE’s data into useful formats
  7.  Writing grant submissions on behalf of INIE
  8.  Assisting with office operations as needed

Qualifications 

  1.  Research experience in fund development or other related research experience
  2.  Excellent oral and written communications skills
  3. Ability to manage multiple assignments

Computer proficiencies: Office 365, Google Docs, Forms and Sharepoint

Hours and Days

The Revenue Research Center Coordinator will work 25 hours per week at the INIE office during normal office hours 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. The rate of pay is $25/hour. This is a grant funded position.
