Are you an artist or craftsperson?  Are you downsizing and have items of value you would like to sell?  If so, then Etsy might be just what you need.

Etsy is an online marketplace for unique handmade and vintage items only. Etsy has created a marketplace that has resulted in loyal shoppers who understand and value artisan craftsmanship and quality vintage items, making it a much better marketplace than eBay.  In other words, it's more like a gallery and antique shop than a flea market and there are no auctions.

Etsy is one of the largest online marketplaces for handcrafted goods and collectibles. With a following of 60.27 million buyers, many of whom make repeat purchases, Etsy presents unique opportunities to its community of sellers.

This course can help you with all the ins and outs of selling on Etsy.  How much does it cost? How do you set up an Etsy shop, what do you have to do to make your products sell? I will also include tips on photography. You will learn everything you need to know to get started selling.

You will need to bring your own laptop or tablet.

Classes will be held on Mondays at 4-5:30 pm for 5 weeks at a cost of $5.00 per class beginning January 31st through February 28th – in the Tallahassee Senior Center Activity Room.
