Shelly Gage is a classically trained singer / songwriter who made her way to Tallahassee, FL back in 2017. She started her musical training at the age of fourteen while attending Douglas Anderson School of the Arts located in Jacksonville, FL, and then later went on to receive a full scholarship for Florida State College at Jacksonville's choral music program. Her primary instruments are voice and piano, and her original music is described as a unique blend of alternative rock with the softly-sweet undertones of a sensitive singer / songwriter. Although Shelly hasn't been in Tallahassee for very long, she strives to make every live show feel like home. Her unearthed sense of humor, in combination with the pure vulnerability and authenticity that is sharing one's deepest, most personal thoughts through music, is what makes listeners feel like some of Shelly's long-time friends. In short, Shelly's shows promise every listener the chance to hear beautiful music, while being captivated by the pure relatability of a young twenty-something just going through life and wanting to share her experience with anyone who is willing to listen.
