688 Industrial Drive - Railroad Square Art Park, Tallahassee, FL, 32310
I have been an artist my entire life and received formal training at FSU beginning my education as a fine arts major. Halfway through my time at college, I changed majors to criminology and entered the career of law enforcement. I continued my artwork with focus in oils, watercolor, and acrylic. My pieces were and still are often centered in seeking to capture emotional and mental states of mind. I also work in ocean art, landscapes, animals, surrealism, and city scenes. My 25 year career in law enforcement has provided me with a wealth of artistic inspiration through my interactions with people of all sorts and their experiences. Also, I draw strongly upon my personal advocacy for mental illness awareness.
My subjects vary widely based upon my interests, abandoned structures, figures, to landscapes, and everything in between. At the core of my work, I strive to connect to the viewer and pull them into the work, connecting with them through the piece.
I operate a studio and gallery at 688 Industrial Drive in Railroad Square.
