Silver Lining Flutes is a flute chamber ensemble comprised of students of Eva Amsler at Florida State University. Performing members include Vivianne Asturizaga, Laura Clapper, Elyse Davis, and John Ross. The ensemble promotes chamber music by contemporary composers and performs works in a variety of genres and styles, including Baroque performance practice and world music. Individually, the members of Silver Lining Flutes have performed throughout Europe and the Americas, are active members of various flute organizations, including the National Flute Association, and hold performing and teaching posts throughout the United States and South America.

Silver Lining Flutes was featured on the Flute New Music Consortium concert at the 2016 Florida Flute Association Convention in Orlando, FL, premieringIntensity, an amplified flute quartet by Carlton Macy. The group has also performed in concerts as part the Tallahassee chapter of Classical Revolution, Tallahassee Music Week, the HOLA Tallahassee Hispanic Heritage Festival, and in a masterclass for members of the Philharmonic Quintet of New York.
